Join us for a FREE and insightful training series provided by Campus Conversations of Healthy Futures of Texas. This series will offer beneficial content, whether you attend 1, 2, or all 3 sessions.

This free high-quality information and training is an amazing professional development opportunity. Faculty and staff can even receive a $200 stipend for each session they attend!

March and April events will be held virtually via Zoom from 11am-1pm. May event will be held in-person.*  


March 28th: Reshaping Conversations

  • Explore effective approaches for communicating with young people in a way that is empowering, respectful, and judgment-free.

April 11th: Trauma-Informed Approaches

  • This session will introduce three types of trauma and build skills to talk about sexuality in a way that is not re-traumatizing for young people.

May 8th/9th: Sexual Health Discussion

  • Join Healthy Futures of Texas staff for an in-person* discussion and debrief of the training series. Additional content offered through a look into the Texas landscape of teen pregnancy, sex education, access to contraception, access to clinics and Title X, and more. 

 

*May 8th in-person training will be at UTRGV - Edinburg. May 9th in-person training event will be at Austin Community College - Highland Campus.
