The Healthy Futures of Texas 7th Annual South Texas Adolescent Health Summit draws together youth-serving professionals from the Rio Grande Valley including social workers, counselors, educators, clinicians, and others who serve young people in this region of Texas. Participants receive valuable continuing education with an emphasis on medically-accurate, evidence-informed programming and have the opportunity to gain and refine skills while networking with colleagues.

The goal of the Summit is to increase knowledge, skills, and abilities among adults who provide services and support to adolescents on the Texas – Mexico Border about adolescent development, positive youth development, adolescent-friendly services, and how to apply the quality components of care through the stages of adolescence.
