A statewide effort, powered by Healthy Futures of Texas, that gives young people safe spaces to talk frankly and honestly about sexual and reproductive health with their friends, parents, and educators.
We help to find ways to normalize conversations about sexual health.
We provide accessible, age-appropriate, and medically-accurate health information, so youth can have easier conversations with parents and better conversations with each other.
We guide communities to find safe, accessible, and affordable resources.
Under the Talk About it Texas umbrella we offer:
- Sex Education Youth Programs: offering innovative sexual health programs targeting K-12, youth in foster care, faith and communities, and campus conversations for community colleges and universities.
- Sex Education Parent Programs: empowering caregivers to shape healthy futures for their children.
- A full range of evidence-based sexual health curricula that meet the needs of different youth and families, to help young people make healthy and informed decisions about sex and relationships.
- Youth advocate groups: a program that empowers teens to become leaders of change in their community through civic participation at local and state levels.
